Josh is planning the music video for his first single, Report to the Floor. Meanwhile, Angel gets an audition for a role in a new Las Vegas show, Absinthe. The role will require her to tap dance, something Angel has done since she was a young child, but not in the last three years. After the audition, Angel is unsure what the director and choreographer thought of her. Nevertheless, she soon finds out that she got the job. Josh's video includes a large party at a nightclub. Angel is shocked to see Jayde Nicole there, but Jayde offers Angel an apology and attempts to clear the hard feelings between them. Josh, accompanied by Angel, goes to Charleston to find out what the private investigators have learned about his birth mother. They stay at Josh's parents' house, where his parents are supportive and agree to be nearby for his meeting with Mike and Carey, the detectives. Meeting with Mike and Carey at a restaurant, Josh learns that they found his birth mother and that she is in Charleston and willing to come to the restaurant immediately to meet him. Josh is overcome with emotion. Meanwhile, Nichole, a YouTube personality (Nichole337) who has become a friend of Holly's, comes to Las Vegas to spend the day with Holly. Jason, Angel's manager, meets with her to discuss the incident where she got into a fight with Jayde at a photo shoot and warn her that she needs to act more professionally. Angel attempts to justify her behavior, but Jason warns her that if incidents like this happen again, he won't be able to represent her. Angel takes the warning to heart and realizes that she has an anger problem. Meanwhile, Laura tells Jayde that the others are mad at her for not sticking up for Angel in the fight with Jayde. However, later, while talking with Jayde and her friends, Laura excuses herself after hearing Jayde's constant criticism of Angel and realizing that Jayde was partly at fault for the photo shoot incident. Holly, Josh, Angel, and Laura meet at a restaurant, and all of them offer apologies to each other. Holly has a bunk bed brought in to her Planet Hollywood suite for Claire to stay there, which surprises Laura, who doesn't get along with Claire. Holly gets an offer to do a print ad for the Playboy Club, but recommends that Angel do the ad instead. When Angel arrives at the photo shoot, she is unhappy to find both Laura and Jayde there to do the shoot as well. Angel confronts Laura about being Jayde's friend considering how rude Jayde is to Holly and herself. Laura responds that it's just business and says that Angel is rude to Jayde too. In the ad, Jayde plays a customer and Angel plays a Playboy Bunny waitress. Throughout the shoot, Jayde makes comments about how Angel needs to serve her drinks and do a better job. Holly gives Angel, her assistant, a long list of items to pick up during the day. Angel finds it difficult to keep up with the list while also taking care of her 1-year-old son Roman. Meanwhile, Holly meets with her publicist, Steve Flynn, who suggests that Holly should consider firing Angel as her assistant. When Holly comes home and finds that Angel failed to pick up several of the items on the list, she fires her, explaining that Angel should go on to bigger and better things than being an assistant. Holly says that Angel is still her best friend and can still live in her house, but Angel is hurt, feeling that she has lost both her job and her best friend. Later that night, Holly and Angel talk some more; Holly tells Angel that she will help her get back into modeling and acting, and they reconcile.
